"Stories" is a surreal digitized dream in which reality and simulation mix. It was the first of four planned music videos that I wrote and conceived for Universal Music. This is surrounded by nostalgic feelings of the 90s and 2000s, as well as 29's affinity for Japanese anime, the associated gaming culture & dystopia. 29's creative direction was intended to distance itself from the usual clichés of German-language rap & RnB without reinventing the wheel. However, as the lyrics are dedicated to romantic themes, there should still be a certain tension between the protagonists. The music video was produced, directed and edited by myself.
