While working as a product designer, Bernardo Avilés-Busch regularly pitched concepts to clients and quickly realized that strong ideas need strong visuals to communicate their impact. What began as a personal interest in photography and art direction during his studies soon became a natural extension of his work, leading into launching Portra Services. A studio combining art direction and product design to create strong visual identities for brands, international corporations and artists.
With a degree in product design from the Art School Berlin Weißensee, Bernardo Avilés-Busch and his trusted network of independent developers and contributors, he approaches every project with a balance of concept and clarity, developing ideas that are both emotionally engaging and strategically effective. Driven by technology and a modern visual language, Portra Services moves fluidly between commercially successful websites and narrative-driven content, blending design, film and photography into cohesive brand stories.
